A mother and a father
All bundled in one
A woman brave enough
To singularly care
For three growing kids
With a heart of gold
She loves indefinitely
Her smiles comfort
And her silly banter
Helps to forget and
Wipe the tears away
Creating memories
To last a lifetime
Her claws come out
When danger threatens
Nothing deters her
From protecting her
Nest, Never have I
Seen a more loyal
Mother, one who
Would do anything
For us at a drop
Of a hat, Not only
Is she my mother
And my father, but
My best friend too
