Her home is the ocean
Warm and vast in size
But her dreams exceed
The depths of the sea
She wanders aimlessly
Free but confined to
A life below surface
Filled with lament
Her turquoise blues
Weep in silence, She
Yearns for love and
The warmth of the sun
That pierces through
The oceans top and
Gleams like diamonds
Her siren cries echo
Through the expanse
But never reaches
To the other world
The one she imagines
Her true love exists
Yet here she resides
Isolation inducing
Fear and loneliness
As her feelings devour
Her ivory skin and
Darken her spirit
Her radiance and
blithe slowly fade
Her emotions the
Illness that invites
